Summary:
Seeking Occupancy specialist to join site management team of 258 low income housing developments located in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston. The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a fast paced yet friendly environment and understand and appreciate the teamwork approach.
Essential Functions:
Conduct resident certification and recertification interviews and process required paperwork in accordance with federal/state and local regulatory requirements.
Conduct site compliance reviews.
Take work order requests from residents, input information in the Yardi System.
Perform rent collection related activities including, but not limited to, receiving payments from tenants, posting payments in Yardi system and prepare collections for daily deposit.
Attach purchase orders to incoming bills from the Yardi System for payment.
Compile and analyze data for use in reports.
Direct the receiving and processing of telephone calls.
Process and/or approve all required paperwork for resident move-ins and move-outs.
Coordinate timely move-ins and move-outs of residents with Maintenance staff.
Job Requirements:
Knowledge with Microsoft Office, Word
Knowledge of Yardi is a plus, training will be provided
Excellent organizational skills and detail -oriented
Teamwork with management office
Work independently with minimal supervision
