Senior Product Manager

The Senior Product Manager is a key member of a newly formed high-performing team accountable for the definition and success of the website used by a global audience of business students and educators. The Senior Product Manager holds a critical role working closely with colleagues across HBP to manage the ongoing development of the recently relaunched Higher Education website. The Senior Product Manager will be defining and managing the roadmap to advance the website in customer acquisition, search & discovery, and user engagement. The Senior Product Manager will define KPIs and manage work to continually improve against them.  This individual is a key stakeholder for the agile team and is responsible for analyzing and synthesizing market data, tracking ongoing product performance, collecting and analyzing educator/learner feedback and using this data to define feature development and go-market strategies. This individual oversees the strategy and execution of the roadmap and ensures effective communication and tactical day-to-day product management for the website. This is a strong individual contributor role to start that works collaboratively across the organization including Sales, Marketing, Editorial, Product Development, Engineering, Finance and Customer Service, as well as across the Harvard community, our global partners, and our customers. This role may have increasing management responsibilities over time.  STRATEGY Own website strategy from idea generation through execution and measurement for Acquisition, Findability and Engagement tracks Partner with the Director, Website Product Management to define and prioritize the team backlog according to business and execution strategy Partner with Marketing to define and deliver features and product promotion tools to achieve customer acquisition and engagement goals Identify opportunities to improve service quality, efficiency, and effectiveness for educators, students and admins    PRODUCT OWNERSHIP Lead cross-functional business planning and stakeholder updates for select website initiatives Serve as a subject matter expert in specific website features from a functional, financial and business perspective Split projects into relevant milestones and deliver value iteratively (from MVP to full product) Serve as Product Owner for one or more agile teams, driving story development, backlog refinement, and prioritization Prioritize feature development in order to achieve business goals Identify user needs, build mechanisms for gathering user feedback, and ensure insights guide product decisions Improve operational efficiency including documenting, simplifying, and optimizing relevant user flows  METRICS AND BUSINESS PERFORMANCE Identify KPIs and metrics of success critical to evolving the website, and partner with Business Intelligence to create effective and efficient reporting Report updates on website performance, including traffic, conversion and revenue; proactively identify opportunities to optimize and improve Report regularly on results of A/B tests, iterations and progress toward Minimum Viable Product or other development goals Regularly contribute to reporting and discussion of Higher Education website and educational products performance with senior management    KEY ATTRIBUTES Strategic mindset paired with strong execution skills and demonstrated business acumen Ability to work collaboratively and develop trusted relationships across Product Management, Product Development, Marketing and Engineering to produce results within desired timelines, scope, and budget Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, presentation and writing skills Passionate about constant improvement and designing high-quality user experiences Data and results orientation: uses facts and analytics to drive decisions in a highly matrixed environment Acts with enthusiasm, resilience, and possesses a "can do" attitude Advocate for raising the bar when it comes to user experience and product implementations Thinks out-of-the-box to bypass technical limitations or complexity and improve speed to market  REQUIREMENTS 5+ years of product management experience for websites or digital products Track record of building high-impact user features for acquisition, findability and/or user engagement Strong grasp of product life cycle, from concept to design, development, deployment, optimization and maintenance Experience working with agile teams and frameworks (scrum and/or Kanban) and prioritizing features/activity for product management and tech teams Hands-on digital analytics experience, including KPI definition and ongoing measurement. Experience with Adobe Analytics a plus Experience setting up and analyzing A/B tests and user feedback Experience building data-driven business cases to recommend action and managing budgets/resources Motivation to work in high change environment Fundamental project management skills and competency Experience managing teams or outside consultants a plus Familiarity with on-site search functionality and SEO best practices a plus Experience with B2B and B2C ecommerce or online marketplaces a plus JO-1809-1289

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
