Security Supervisor

Job Description:
The Security Supervisor is responsible for the direct operational and functional support of Safety & Security program. Designs, implements and maintains systems and procedures to promote efficient, effective support service operations. Develops and implements departmental administrative policies and procedures. Participates in special programs and assessments related to Behavioral Health areas.
Patrols organization to prevent fire, theft and vandalism
Secures locks and protects Organization and grounds. Assists with inquires made by patients, visitors or personal
Responds quickly and effectively to emergency and non-emergency situations
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong safety and security awareness, as well as focused customer service. Will effectively participate as a memberin bothEOC Committee (Environment of Care) and actively participates in EOC Hazard Tours. Must become aware of and ensure compliance with standards from various oversight organizations , such as DPH, JCAHO.
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
3-5yrs of experience in Security position is required.
Previous management or lead experience is preferred.

Must be a Team Player
Must be detail oriented and have the strong ability to multi-task. Must be able to successfully prioritize and manage a stressful, fast pace environment.
Strong ability to exercise good supervisory judgment with assigned staff and demonstrate exemplary customer service skills with patients in registration and admitting

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
